Your Area of Work

Clearstream is a post-trade services provider owned by Deutsche Börse AG. It provides settlement and custody as well as other related services for securities across all asset classes. As part of the Asset Services team, you will be responsible for the processing of Voluntary Corporate Actions for the APAC markets. You will be responsible to inform customers and execute customers’ instructions with a focus on delivering good service whilst reducing operational risk. In addition, the Job Holder is also required to continuously challenge the operating status-quo, work on process improvement and automation to bring efficiency to the delivery platform for enhanced customer experience.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Primary CA Processing/ BAU
  • Testing/ Misc projects
  • Liaising with Network Team/DQA
  • Audit Matters and execution plus follow through to completion of corrective action plan.
  • Update of internal procedures/URP
  • Training and coaching of new Hires
  • Update of internal procedures
  • Investigation / liaising with Depository
  • Problem solving and reconciliation activities.
  • To provide cross functional services support within Asset Services, where necessary.
  • Any other tasks and functions that may be assigned to the Job Holder from time to time.

 

Your Profile

  • University degree in Business, Finance, Economics and/or a comparable qualification.  
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Banking and Finance preferably in securities services and/or global payment processing.
  • Prior work experience in Corporate Actions is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Self-motivated, strong team player, challenge status-quo and willing to propose improvements
  • Detail-oriented and a strong sense of accuracy
  • Ability to take ownership for an issue and provide clear and concise explanations of findings
  • Confident to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining good organization and prioritization
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to build rapport and relationship with both customers and internal stakeholders/
  • Competent handling of MS Office applications, especially advanced Excel
