Field of Activity

Business Transformation contributes to the successful implementation of system, application-based changes within Clearstream by handling both the business acceptance testing and the operational readiness activities. 

The User Acceptance team is part of the Business Transformation section and is responsible for managing business acceptance testing and ensure smooth implementations of project deliveries on the Clearstream platform.

As an Acceptance Tester, you will assist the Line Manager and the Acceptance Test Manager in terms of test planning and business acceptance test preparation, you will execute the test scenarios, raise defects and communicate with colleagues across the test and verification team.

Main Tasks & responsibilities

Read and understand the reference documents
Prepare and prioritise Business Acceptance Criteria
Perform end-to-end testing (in cooperation with other testers)
Execute all scheduled test scenarios and open JIRAs in a timely manner
Report your progress on a daily basis
Communicate with the Acceptance Officer / Coordinator and the test and verification team to facilitate test progress and issue resolution
Act as a point of reference for own test scope
Document the work accordingly to prove the correct behaviour of the tested item
Participate in Transition Testing

Qualifications/required skills:

Good business knowledge and understanding of Clearstream's products and services, in particular Settlement and Custody
Excellent analytical skills and care for detail
Good organisational skills
Excellent communication skills and willingness to build network with project team members in Business and IT
Independent way of working
Experience as a tester and sound understanding of project management practices is considered as an advantage
Any additional experience in Summit methodology, test tools like JIRA and ALM, SWIFT communication system and network is considered as an advantage.
Proficiency in written and spoken English; French/German language skills will be an asset
Dedication, flexibility as well as competent handling of MS Office applications round out your profile
