Your area of work

As a Clearing & Settlement Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial part in the successful implementation of key clearing & settlement projects by acting as a stream lead for Market Readiness. You will be responsible for coordinating project activities, ensuring timely delivery, and managing stakeholder expectations. One of your main duties will be to engage with clearing members and Independent software vendors, preparing and presenting roll-out plans, proactively adressing client inquiries and concerns to the project team.

This position requires a strong understanding of clearing and settlement procedures including industry best practices and regulatory requirements as well as excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Your responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: coordinate all aspects of assigned clearing & settlement projects for the Client Service area e.g.,   conduct impact assessment for the entire Client Service department, develop and maintain detailed readiness plan as well as communication plan, track and report project progress, and identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact the release scope/ initiative.
  • Client Engagement: prepare and present scope, updates, and roll-out plans in client committees, prepare communication materials, as well as discuss and gather client feedback/ intelligence together with the customer facing Market Access Solution Team.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: demonstrate a strong understanding of settlement and clearing procedures, staying abreast of the evolving regulatory landscape and regulations impacting settlement. Review, create, submit content for relevant documents, circulars and project announcement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Client support: Provide support and guidance to clients and Independent Software Vendors on Eurex Clearing services and interfaces, including FIXML, AMQP.

 

Your profile

  • PMP certificate and/or 3+ years of experience in the Settlement and Clearing industry, preferably in a project management or subject matter expert role
  • Strong understanding of clearing and settlement procedures, systems, and regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal (Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (proficiency in German is desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly motivated and engaging nature, positively assertive
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills.

 

 

 

Additional Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Familiarity with financial markets and derivatives products
  • Proficient in making dynamic PowerPoint presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira).
