Digital CSD Operations sits within the Data, Channels and Digital Operations (Department). We are responsible for the set up and issuance of the full range of security types for our customers on worldwide markets. By integrating our data products with digital operations, we are realizing the Digital CSD. We are driving transformation by fostering cross-functional collaboration and ensuring both projects and people are ready for future challenges.
We are seeking a visionary and experienced leader to join our team as the Head of Section for Issuance in Clearstream. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing digital operations & transformation of our operations across Clearstream’s global issuance. You will lead teams to transform and innovate our processes with a goal of enabling data-driven operations, ensuring that Clearstream remains at the forefront of the securities services industry.
Employees Engagement and Support throughout the transformation process is a primary responsibility.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and develop teams across Luxembourg and Eschborn/Frankfurt – incl. Oversight and Center of Competence functions and delivery teams in Prague
- Drive the transformation of issuance operations, advancing CoC teams from BAU involvement toward a fully realized change and automation function, with the goal of creating data-driven operations and facilitating the transformation to the Digital CSD
- Own governance and performance oversight of the Prague Delivery Hub, ensuring KPIs, quality and outsourcing accountability are met
- Hold overall accountability for day-to-day issuance operations across CEU (Issuer CSD, Investor CSD and CBL (co-issuance)
- Represent issuance in senior management forums and ensure regulatory and compliance adherence across all activities
Your profile
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of a proven track record in a similar leadership function within post-trade services, custody, or financial market infrastructure.
- Proven leadership and excellent people management skills
- Good knowledge of Clearstream’s issuance and data processes
- Proven leadership and networking capabilities
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational plans and actions
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and integrated thinking skills
- Ability to work under high pressure
- “Can do” mindset
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; French and German are an asset
