In Risk (a semi-independent Product of Deutsche Börse) we focus on making Eurex Clearing the industry leader in Risk Services / CCP Risk Management and to support the growth into new products and markets. We are at the heart of the Deutsche Börse Group’s market infrastructure offering and of utter importance for the stability of the global financial market.
For our Service Implementation team we are looking for a colleague to join us in a role that focuses on defining, measuring and improving the how of what we do. As a software development shop responsible for a number of critical applications, we are continuously evolving our processes, collaboration, formal checks and balances. On a day to day level, the position consists of analysing, collaborating and improving our individual processes related to software change management, deployment, maintenance, etc. On a longer time scale you will own these processes, implement and drive changes, fed by feedback, best practices and governance topics.
Risk IT has a very knowledge driven decision making; hence you will be expected to work closely with cross-functional teams and occasionally present your ideas in wider rounds. Risk IT offers strong opportunities for growth through our unique scope of being at the intersection of finance and technology.
Your responsibilities:
- Support project management and work closely on workflow procedures
- Ensure regular reporting
- Prepare project related reports and analyses
- Process mapping, process automation, workflow optimization, and data analysis
- Ensures that processes are clear, consistent, and compliant with the standards and regulations
- Manage process documentation and ensure compliance with company standards
Your profile:
- Knowledge of formal IT Process frameworks, such as ITIL or COBIT
- Open-minded, proactive, highly organized personality with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Initiative and willingness to perform
- Experience working with JIRA and Confluence
- Analytical and critical thinking including ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions
- High level of verbal and written communications skills, tact & diplomacy
- Full Professional Proficiency in English (spoken and written), knowledge of German is an advantage
- High results orientation, reliability and setting high standards for quality of work products
- University degree, preferably in economics, information technology or mathematics or comparable education with professional experience
