Within the CTO area we operate and develop the group-wide IT infrastructure (network, data centers and Cloud), the Group Data & Advanced Analytics and the Enterprise Architecture which significantly contribute to Deutsche Börse Group overall strategy. Drive transformation, leverage innovation while keeping production operations stable are the core pillars of the services provided by the CTO area.
The CTO division enables all CIO/COO divisions with technology and data services.
As a Junior Functional Analyst in Prices, Trading and Rating Data IT, you are the bridge between Business and IT. We are looking for a motivated person who will together with the team of engineers enable us to transition to a new data-oriented model world. You will learn actively our applications, the data model, data delivery and data streaming to all DBG’s internal and external clients. You will gain expertise to work with our experts in the areas of Functional Analysis, Engineering, and Data Architecture.
In our team you will have the opportunity to understand and contribute to the various stages of development from design to implementation. You will be part of a diverse project team who will support and appreciate the value you will bring to our team.
Your responsibilities:
- Engaging with key stakeholders, such as business users, project managers and developers, to understand their needs, and learn to provide guidance and ensure service solutions in line with regulatory demands.
- You actively collaborate with Functional Analysts of Reference Data as a Service, to create common solutions of reference data for our business by defining data model, describing business rules to refine raw data into high-quality and proven reference data and keeping meta-data in data catalog and service catalog up to date.
- Proactively learning to work in an agile team where you contribute to our projects with clear described functional requirements and test use cases; for change requests you provide impact analysis and delivery plan aligned with engineers.
- Create documentations that clearly describes the needs of the business which includes business requirements, business use cases, user stories, system specifications, test cases and process models.
- Stay up to date on release plan, new features, learn to provide effort estimates, and delivery plan and support the release lifecycle as needed, issue resolution, hot fix, resolution for all project incidents.
- Proactive in learning the state-of-the-art tools, cloud technologies, test frameworks and their implementations that will add value to the projects in transition.
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed a bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Economics or equivalent certification
- Good knowledge of databases, SQL and cloud terminologies are an asset
- First experience using GitHub, Jira and MS office tools or positive with can learn attitude to new tools and environments
- Curious with ability to learn, enjoys teamwork, possesses excellent analytical skills, is well structured, is responsible, communicative and flexible to work across teams
- Very good written and spoken English skills
