Our real-time, index (DAX and STOXX), reference, and historical data, plus insightful analytics derived from granular market activity, empower a wide range of customers - from analysts and traders to asset managers and back-office professionals - to make informed investment decisions, optimize strategies, manage risks and gain a competitive edge.
Join our Customer Compliance team as a Market Data Auditor (f/m/d) and contribute to the integrity of our market data licensing. You will ensure clients adhere to our licensing standards, working with a diverse range of data products used by financial institutions worldwide.
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct and support remote and onsite market data audits of global customers, following best practice guidelines to identify discrepancies with licensing agreements
- Efficiently plan, execute and deliver accurate audit analyses for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining cost and time effectiveness while meeting team targets
- Effectively communicate with customers to ensure and verify compliance with licensing requirements during (yearly) reviews and audits
- Foster strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, building positive relationships and managing expectations throughout the audit process
- Document, update and share acquired audit expertise with the team, including knowledge of market data delivery platforms, technical systems, applications, entitlement control, market data management systems and administrative practices
- Collaborate on team projects and contribute to implementing updated audit and licensing requirements
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed a university degree in Business Studies, Economics, Finance or a related field
- You ideally have prior experience in Market Data Licensing or auditing in the financial sector; knowledge of Deutsche Börse AG market data products and licensing is desirable
- You possess strong analytical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a high attention to detail
- You have excellent communication and strong negotiation skills in English; proficiency in German is an asset
- You are proficient in data analysis and MS Office (especially Excel), preferably in an audit context; experience with AI is a plus
- You have the ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently, effectively managing individual tasks while demonstrating initiative and contributing to a team environment
- You are committed to continuous learning and adapt readily to evolving industry practices
- Your understanding of market data industry definitions, contractual terms and conditions is an advantage
