The Project & Product Management Unit (PMG) serves as a central support function to the Heads of Product Business Lines. While the PMG does not assume primary ownership of any individual product segment, it holds overarching responsibility for key cross-functional activities. These include the maintenance and governance of the product inventory, as well as the coordination and consolidation of requests originating from internal and external stakeholders such as Audit, Regulation, Compliance, and other control functions. 

Your main role will be to support the Inventory Manager on Material Change Process (or MCP): change and product inventory. The objective of this process is to ensure that every proposed change to existing products, services or business activities within Clearstream legal entities is thoroughly assessed for its potential impact on the organization’s operations, legal, and risk landscape. 

 

Tasks/responsibilities

 

  • Maintain global Product Portfolio Inventory, active participation in the material change process. Attend the Material Change Working Group (MCWG) and support the different requestors in filing their requests.
  • Maintain and report on Action List from the meetings, including the control functions requests from the MCP Tool
  • Follow-up with the respective Business/Product areas to align and ensure the Product Inventory is updated in due time.
  • Maintain a centralized and auditable record of all material and non-material changes through the Change/Product inventory
  • Review the change inventory and question long outstanding pending change requests
  • Liaise with different stakeholders: Board & Committees, IT, Risk, Compliance, Network Management, Legal and audit where necessary

 

Qualifications/required skills:

  • Enrolled student (Bachelor or Master) in business, Finance or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Interest in financial markets and post-trade infrastructures is an asset
  • Strong process orientation including measurement of delivery.
  • Willingness to build network within the company.
  • Independent way of working and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn further on Clearstream products and services and the underlying supporting business applications.
  • Be a team-player, pro-active, creative, highly motivated person, taking ownership of tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English. Other languages is an asset.
