Your area of work
Regulatory Reporting and Monitoring Unit plays a crucial role in assisting trading members with their reporting obligations, helping them navigate regulatory requirements, and preparing them for any regulatory changes, all while delivering exception client support. As an intern (f/m/d), you will support the team in ensuring that our trading members maintain full compliance with regulatory requirements across Eurex and the Cash Market.
Your responsibilities:
- You are responsible for daily internal system monitoring and client outreaches to ensure our trading members’ compliance with regulatory requirements
- You are responsible for preparing and sending internal daily report capturing the monitoring results
- You are jointly responsible for answering client queries via phone and email, and answering inquiries from internal stakeholders
- You support implementation of regulatory changes and updates into internal systems, processes, and guidelines
- You support digitization and improvement initiatives within and beyond our unit.
- You assist the team with various internal project tasks, including preparation of presentations
Your profile:
- You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least one semester (focus in the finance sector is of advantage). Furthermore, we offer the possibility of an orientation internship, whereby you are currently in a gap-year after your bachelor's or master's degree in the above-mentioned fields of study - in this case, a certificate of enrolment is not required
- Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the financial markets area
- You are client services orientated and with your communication skills, you will ensure high customer satisfaction
- You have high analytical skills and have great attention to detail
- You are highly motivated and ready to take on responsibility
- In addition, you have very good knowledge in MS Office applications
- Moreover, you are fluent in English. German language would be a plus
