Your area of work:

For our Sales and RM Support Team within Clearstream Fund Services, we are currently looking for a Head of Unit to support the development of a young and dynamic team and to contribute to the success and growth of our Sales and Relationship Management Targets.

 

The Sales and RM Support Team is part of the Sales and RM section within Clearstream Fund Services. Sales and RM covers the complete set of teams dedicated to selling our Distribution and Execution Products and maintaining relationships to our worldwide client base, with teams located in Hong Kong, Zurich, Luxembourg and Australia. The teams focus on the management of client day-to-day queries, onboarding of new business partners and the management of the CFS Sales Pipeline. Tasks are focused around the Relationship Management functions that can be streamlined by the Sales and RM Support Team, assisting clients with Account Openings, Onboardings, billing queries, report requests and general RM queries. The Sales and RM Support team is also responsible for the coordination of new projects and roll out of new developments within the Sales and RM world.

You will be responsible for a team of 8 people and we are looking for a manager who is client-focused and results orientated. The head of unit is responsible for the growth and development of all team members, ensuring to a create a secure and collaborative working environment for the team.

 

Clearstream Fund Services is a fast-growing business within Clearstream/Deutsche Börse and the market-leading provider of fund processing services in Europe and the largest one-stop shop in 3rd party funds services. Our Vestima product is the world’s largest fund processing platform provides order execution, settlement and custody services for more than 230,000 funds, ensuring highest asset safety for over 55 fund markets worldwide.

 

Your responbilities:

  • Support the development and growth of a strong team and create expertise in the field of Sales and RM
  • Support the Management Team in the monthly and adhoc reporting needs for senior advisory and SteerCo committees.
  • Manage internal reporting, retrieve data from internal systems and deliver in useful formats
  • Be familiar with the usage of our platforms and understand our product solutions to assist with trainings, demos and user queries
  • Support client migrations, new account openings and fund house setups are completed in a timely manner
  • Join client meetings/calls and assist in delivering client needs and requirements
  • Confident and willing to be involved and assist in client marketing events
  • Work closely with various internal teams regionally/globally to resolve client related topics

 

Your profile:

  • Proven track record in a similar function (5-7 years)
  • Exposure to the financial industry, preferably in the Asset Management and/or investment fund business sector
  • At least 1-2 years in a role with people management responsibilities.
  • Master or Bachelor degree in business administration, economics or similar
  • Good understanding of the financial services industry and especially in the area of data management 
  • Previous work experience in the Sales Support, Client Account Management or Customer Services is desirable.
  • Strong client facing, problem solving and proactive attitude
  • Excellent Organisational skills, communication skills, customer focused, ability to independently and works well as a team leader
  • Able to work to deadlines and targets, whilst delivering a high quality of work.
  • Well-organized, accurate, proactive, conscientious and resilient
