As a central securities depository (CSD) headquartered in Frankfurt/Main, Clearstream Banking AG operates the post-trading business – i.e. issuance, settlement and custody – for German securities.

Your area of work
Custody and Investor solution – Asset Servicing Product Development is responsible for the definition and (further) development of all products and services that Clearstream Banking has to offer its customers in the areas of Securities Settlement, Custody and Tax in the Asset Servicing area. This includes in particular the integration of Asset Servicing requirements (e.g. CAH, ECMS, SRD II, etc.) and new market trends. In addition, AS Product Development is in intensive contact with customers, as well as various DBAG internal departments. In an international and dynamic team you will be able to gather valuable experiences and to combine the theory of the university with practical knowledge. You will be actively involved in the processes through diverse and interesting tasks.

Your responsibilities:

As a working student (f/m/d) you will support the team in the Custody and Investor solution area significantly with the following tasks:

Participation and support of the Product / Project Management Office in regards to managing, planning and reporting of project activities
Independent handling of organizational and content related tasks
Support the creation of Power Point presentations, Word documents, market analysis, and other planning and steering instruments
Handling and management of client requests
Assuring quality, correctness and on time delivery of sub-elements for client presentation and publications
Support in Market Member Readiness and Internal Readiness activities
Administrative support to the Head of Unit
In addition to these exciting tasks, you will gain insights in the area of post-trading, e.g. settlement, custody

Your profile:

You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student. Study focus in the field of economics, law, informatics, mathematics or business studies.
Ideally, you have already gained first practical experience in the context of preparation of analysis, power point presentations (e.g. experience abroad, internships) / in the capital markets area
You are interested in Financial and Capital Markets
You have hands-on mentality and solution-oriented thinking
Thanks to your communication and teamwork skills, you quickly find your way into the team. Your affinity for numbers and creative thinking help you to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics and take responsibility
You have good knowledge in MS Office
You are fluent in written and spoken English/ German. Another language is an asset
