Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Data Analyst to join our team and play a vital role in a large-scale automation project within the dynamic field of Financial Markets. The ideal candidate will have a blend of experience in IT, finance, and economics. You will be responsible for analyzing large, complex datasets to identify opportunities for process automation, and you will be instrumental in designing and proposing automated solutions. This role requires working extensively with databases, extracting and preparing relevant data, and translating business conditions into actionable rules for our automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Solution Proposal: Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and inefficiencies in current processes. Based on your findings, you will propose innovative and data-driven automated solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Database Management and Data Retrieval: Work closely with various databases to fetch, clean, and prepare relevant data for analysis and modeling. This includes writing and optimizing queries to handle large volumes of information.
- Rule and Logic Transformation: A critical part of this role is to understand complex business and financial conditions and translate them into logical, structured rules that can be implemented within our automation frameworks. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure the accurate implementation of business logic.
- Project Participation: Actively participate in a significant automation project, collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT developers, project managers, and financial market experts to ensure the successful integration of automated solutions.
- Reporting and Communication: Clearly communicate your analytical findings and the logic behind your proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and dashboards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational and Professional Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in a data analysis role, ideally within the financial services or a related industry.
- A strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and economic principles.
- Technical Skills:
- SQL Proficiency: At least a basic knowledge of SQL is required for fetching and manipulating data from databases. Experience with complex queries and database management is a significant advantage.
- Programming Knowledge: Basic proficiency in a programming language such as Python or R is highly desirable for data analysis, and automation tasks.
- Data Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and advanced spreadsheet skills (e.g., Excel) are beneficial.
- Analytical and Cognitive Skills:
- Strong Analytical Mindset: The ability to analyze large sets of data, identify underlying patterns, and think critically to propose effective solutions.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated capability to understand complex problems and break them down into manageable components for automation.
- Rule-Based Thinking: A key requirement is the ability to deconstruct conditions and logic into a format that can be used to create automated rules and workflows.
