Your area of work
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. This individual will oversee all administrative aspects of Deutsche Boerse Systems, Inc., our subsidiary in Chicago. The role requires a broad knowledge of administrative functions, the ability to manage intercompany contractual relationship and knowledge of US corporate law, along with a proactive approach to mitigate risks and driving organizational success.
Your responsibilities
- You will support business operations, manage contracts with service providers and support the day-to-day administration of an office with a staff of 60 people
- You will ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local corporate laws in collaboration with external counsel
- You will direct and manage intercompany contractual relationships and serve as the primary contact for internal stake holders, audits and inquiries
- You will manage the corporate library and make sure all contractual, corporate and legal documents are stored and available
- You will assure implementation of all corporate policies and procedures
- You will maintain communication with the parent company in Germany as the administrative contact for the U.S. subsidiary
Your profile
- You have completed your bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related area
- You already have 1-3 years of work experience within an administrative or a comparable function
- You have a basic knowledge of US Corporate Functions, Law is a plus
- You gained experience in stakeholder and people management
- You are driven and detail-oriented
- You already worked with Microsoft Power-Apps (e.g. Power BI), SAP is an asset
- You are proficient in written and spoken English and German proficiency is beneficial
