Your career at Deutsche Börse Group

Your area of work
The Digital Issuer CSD Operations team is considered the "gateway to collective safe custody" for Clearstream Europe (CEU), fulfilling its function as a securities clearing and deposit bank, and German central securities depository. Based in Prague, the PSB team works closely with authorized financial intermediaries. In this context, you will join a dedicated and experienced team of professionals.

The team independently manages the eligibility of new digital security issues within Clearstream, guiding primary market players to meet our standard requirements. As a Digital Securities Administrator, you will help define, digitize, and test new processes for digital securities in close collaboration with the D7 eShares project team.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage the admission of German shares into the market through the eMission or D7 platform for digital securities.
  • Monitor the asset lifecycle, including corporate actions, securities administration events, and settlement.
  • Analyze and interpret the Terms and Conditions of each financial issue.
  • Supervise the automated admission of digitally issued securities provided to Clearstream by issuers or settlement agents and efficiently handle system exceptions.
  • Resolve complex customer queries independently, professionally, and in a timely manner, covering eligibility related to compliance, corporate actions, income, tax events, legal matters, and settlement.
  • Ensure full compliance with effective internal controls, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Execute user testing on new interfaces and IT environments to support and increase the efficiency of evolving systems.

Your profile

  • Education: High school education required; a University degree in a relevant field or comparable banking experience is an advantage.
  • Mindset: Proactive, willing to take ownership, demonstrate initiative, and driven to continuously learn and develop.
  • Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English and German (excellent German is required, as legal and operational documents are written in German).
  • Technical Skills: Competent in MS Office applications; hands-on experience with the JIRA ticketing tool and AI tools is highly desirable.
  • Industry Knowledge: A strong interest in financial and capital markets; a solid understanding of financial instruments is a distinct advantage.
  • Project Experience: Prior experience participating in operational roles or digitalization projects within the capital markets area is a plus.
