Your career at Deutsche Börse Group

Your area of work:

As Financial Accounting & Regulatory Projects Expert, you will contribute to key finance and regulatory initiatives within the CFO area. You will work across Financial Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, IT, Risk, Compliance, and business teams to translate accounting and regulatory requirements into practical, well-controlled solutions. The role combines project management, technical finance expertise, and exposure to transformation, automation, and M&A-related activities.

In this role, you will collaborate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to support clear communication, timely decisions, and well-documented outcomes.

- Finance teams across Financial Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Controlling, and reporting control functions.

- CFO management, project sponsors, steering committees, and governance bodies.

- IT, Data, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and relevant business stakeholders.

- Internal and external auditors, and competent authorities where relevant.

Your responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate finance-related projects across Financial Accounting and Regulatory Reporting, from requirements and planning through to testing, implementation, and follow-up.

- Analyse accounting, regulatory, and prudential reporting topics and translate them into clear business, reporting, and system requirements.

- Support automation, process improvement, and regulatory-driven change initiatives within the CFO area.

- Help ensure consistency between IFRS, LuxGAAP, and regulatory reporting requirements, including clear documentation of key impacts and decisions.

- Support M&A, restructuring, and other strategic transactions from a finance and regulatory reporting perspective.

Your profile:

- You have successfully completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

- You bring 7–10 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, audit, consulting, or a comparable finance environment.

- You have good knowledge of IFRS and LuxGAAP, and can translate accounting and regulatory requirements into clear, practical deliverables.

- You have experience in project management, transformation initiatives, or M&A-related finance activities, with a structured approach to planning, coordination, testing, documentation, and follow-up.

- You bring a strong data, process, and control mindset, with attention to quality and audit-ready documentation.

- You are confident using Microsoft Office; experience with JIRA, SAP/S4HANA, A360, or data analytics tools would be beneficial.

You take ownership, work independently, and bring structure to complex topics.

- You communicate clearly, escalate when needed, and keep stakeholders aligned.

- You combine technical depth with a pragmatic delivery mindset.

- You are motivated by continuous improvement, automation, and high-quality outcomes.

- You are fluent in English; French and/or German would be an advantage.
