Your area of work:

Support the Channels product management team with focus on delivery of SWIFT Standard Releases and project by performing business analysis, impact assessment, and requirement definition across Payments, Securities, Collateral, Settlement and Cash domains, ensuring compliance with ISO 15022/20022 standards and successful implementation within Clearstream systems.

 

Your responsibilities:

1. SWIFT Analysis & Impact Assessment

  •  Analyze SWIFT Standard Release documentation (MT ISO15022 / Mx ISO20022  My Standards)
  • Identify impacted message types, flows, and business domains
  • Perform end-to-end impact analysis across systems, processes, and interfaces
  • Assess impact on: XACT / connectivity channels, Settlement, payments, collateral, securities flows
  •  Leverage business requirements artefacts for scope and impact alignment

2. Business Requirement Definition & Documentation

  • Translate SWIFT changes into:
    • Business Requirements, Functional specifications, Change Requests (CRs)
    • Define: Data mappings (MT → MX), Validation rules and message structures
    • Process changes (As-Is / To-Be)
  • Ensure traceability from SWIFT change → requirement → implementation
  • Message Expertise:

Deep understanding of SWIFT message categories:

Securities Settlement: MT54x, sese.020–042

Securities Trade: setr.027, setr.030, setr.044

Cash Transfers: MT103, MT202, pacs series

Collateral & Corporate Actions: colr, semt series

  • Organize workshops to validate scope and business requirements

3. Stakeholder Coordination & Governance

  • Act as interface between: Product / Business, IT / Architecture, Operations, Compliance / Risk
  • Governance & MyStandards:

Manage MyStandards portal updates, validation rules, and portal packs.

Ensure proper documentation and communication of changes to internal and external stakeholders.

4. Process Design & Change Implementation Support

  • Define To-Be business processes and workflows
  • Identify functional gaps and propose solutions
  • Support: Migration activities (MT → MX ), Client and operational readiness
  • Ensure alignment with SWIFT guidelines and internal standards

5.Project Support and Test Validation

  • Support governance activities:
    • Design Authority reviews. SteerCo inputs. Release sign-offs (BRA / SRA)
  • Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria
  • Provide: Message samples (before/after), Test cases (functional & regression)
  • Support SIT/UAT phases: Defect analysis and Validation of SWIFT message behaviour

6. Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Act as liaison between:
    • Business / Product teams ,IT / Architecture, Operations
    • Conduct workshops to: Validate requirements, Confirm scope and priorities.
  • Support alignment / communication across stakeholders and relationship with Swift

 

Your profile:

  • At least 5+ years experience as Business Analyst in financial services
  • SWIFT messaging and ISO migration programs
  • Large-scale transformation or regulatory initiatives
  •  Experience across payments and/or securities domain preferred
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is an asset 
  • University-level education 
  • Experience in Test case design and execution. Defect management tools. SWIFT/ MyStandards and related tools
  • Knowledge of:  Jira, ALM, or equivalent tools is a plus

  

Your skills and competencies  

  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Exposure to Multi Project environment is essential.
  • Excellent at managing projects and driving work forward 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
  • Strong knowledge of SWIFT FIN and ISO 20022 message structures and validation.
  • Familiarity with securities lifecycle: settlement, clearing, custody, and cash management.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business requirements
  • Structured thinking and delivery focus
  • Capability to improve processes, acting as a catalyst for change and innovation throughout the organization 
  • Ability to think critically, be solution oriented, and take ownership of tasks with minimal guidance 
  • Consistently produce high quality work, recognizes priority issues, and refer upwards where appropriate 
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a multicultural and friendly environment
