The Corporate Purchasing section is responsible for the global strategic procurement of the Deutsche Börse Group, management of major supplier contracts, and the execution of order and payment processes. The focus is on reducing costs, complexity, and risk.

Role Overview:
As an Operational Buyer for Professional Services Consulting, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for IT and business consulting services. This includes handling purchase requisitions, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and supporting stakeholders in achieving their project goals.
- Process orders and assignments in compliance with purchasing guidelines, internal compliance requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Support market analysis, manage tenders and negotiations, and handle contract issues and escalations throughout the procurement process for Professional Services.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skills in supplier selection and evaluation, optimization of measurement methods, and communication with internal stakeholders.
- Further develop and provide standards for category optimization and contribute to the implementation and advancement of the procurement function’s digitalization strategy.
- Advise internal clients on all matters related to IT and business consulting and support departments in meeting their needs.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in operational purchasing, ideally in professional services or consulting. Expertise in contract management, especially IT service and work contracts.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g., SAP Fieldclass, Ariba) and MS Office tools.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- High precision and flexibility, with strong analytical and conceptual communication skills.
- Excellent team orientation.
