Your area of work
Data Services Operations section acts as the central coordinator for the historical / analytical data products of our Data Shop supports strategic IT and compliance projects. We are also involved in several strategic initiatives at MD+S level. Through our involvement in strategic initiatives and various projects on the MD+S level, we foster cross-team collaboration within our division and with all relevant parties. We support Data Services’ administrative and technical processes and maintain administrative tools and processes and cooperate on pricing projects, new co-operations and new initiatives, and support process optimization.
Within this field of activities, MDS Client Services are looking to hire a Specialist Application Manager for the Deutsche Börse’s Data Shop.
Your responsibilities
- Application management for Data Shop: be the central point of contact regarding Data Shop related questions and its’ historical and analytical data products
- Product Launch Management: Coordinate and manage the technical aspects of new product launches in the Data Shop, ensuring seamless integration of new products
- Application Monitoring and Optimisation: Continuously monitor the performance of the Data Shop and work on optimizing for better efficiency and user experience
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation, incident lists, providing regular reports to stakeholders (status call / release notes)
- Innovation and Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve Data Shop and explore new features
- Compliance: Ensure that Data Shop complies with relevant regulations, e.g. Data Protection/KYC
- Coordinate with all stakeholders of the application: Work closely with software developers, Marketing, Operations, Compliance, Legal teams
Your profile
- You have successfully completed your university or comparable degree in business administration or related discipline
- You have a minimum of 5+ years professional experience in project-based business activities in the financial market industry and a fundamental understanding of data business
- You have strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- You have excellent communication to understand business user requirements and work with IT/data management
- You are a pro-active team player with “can do” attitude, self-organised and target-oriented
- You are willing to cooperate with multiple colleagues across departments and office locations
- You have strong German and English language skills
