Your Area of Work

As a member of the Regulatory Regimes and Registered Shares team, you will be supporting the management of CSDR (Central Securities Depositories Regulation) penalties, German and French Registered Shares, and Regulatory Reporting. You will be working in close collaboration with various internal departments (Settlements, Product, IT, among others), as well as external counterparts.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Responsible team player with ability to quickly adapt to change,
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel,
  • High problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to understand process-flows,
  • Fast learner and stress-resistant,
  • Precise and detail-oriented,
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present complex topics in a comprehensive way,
  • Ability to interact professionally and securely with internal and external parties,
  • Languages: Fluency in English is a requirement, German is an advantage,
  • Secondary school diploma as a minimum. University degree in a relevant degree such as Business, Finance or Economics (or equivalent training with professional experience) is an advantage,
  • Previous working experience in Back office / Banking / Finance is an advantage.

 

 

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Handle all processes related to daily / monthly business promptly, respecting the relevant deadlines,
  • Learn new tasks as required,
  • Support colleagues within the team with more exceptional / complex tasks,
  • Provide support to other team members in case of contingency (sickness, holidays),
  • Be flexible to accommodate different business needs and be able to switch between different tasks on an ad-hoc basis,
  • Coordinate and describe the relevant tasks of all parties involved with the requirements set by Clearstream Banking,
  • Collaborate with, and provide support to, Client Service and Relationship Management colleagues in the event of client queries,
  • Consider and investigate possible process improvements,
  • Support the testing of system improvements and new processes.

Working Hours

  • Working hours between 8:00 - 18:00, might be subject to change based on business requirements.
