Testimonials from previous interns

“When I first began working here, I was in training for three weeks with other interns and new starters. I found these weeks in training very useful as it gave me a chance to become proficient in my role before joining my team on the floor.  As well as this, it offered me a chance to get to know other new starters who were all in the same position as me.”

“I started working on a Client Team in Transfers, where my role was tracing.  This essentially involved communicating with both transfer agents and clients to ensure that all was in order with the transfer, so we could receive a contract note.  After a few weeks on the floor, I trained in contract note match/mismatch…At the beginning of August, I moved to a different function within my team, Fund Ops...By moving roles within my team, I feel that I have had a varied experience of what it is like to work on a client team.”

“I really enjoyed my experience working in Clearstream.  I instantly felt welcome and part of the Clearstream team.  There is a very open atmosphere within the teams, and so I always felt comfortable asking for help when I needed it.  As well as this, I felt that I was trusted and given responsibility when it came to my work.  I always felt that I was a valuable member of the team and that my input was valued.”
