The Client Onboarding & Lifecycle Management Section is responsible for Client Onboarding, and lifecycle management
We are responsible for Client onboarding, Client documentation handling, Client data maintenance in the different systems e.g. CBL/CBF/LuxCSD account maintenance, SAP data, LEI, Client names, Client signature verification As A Service.
As a Project Manager/Business Analyst in this section, you will contribute to the Deutsche Börse Group overall strategy of modernization of the IT landscape and development of services based on state-of-the-art technologies.
You will be part of the regular IT project lifecycle, supporting the development of new and enhanced Client data services. Your main tasks will be to own the Section’s project portfolio and change initiatives, in alignment with your Line Management’s strategy and roadmap, the coordination of project teams, project reporting and communication. You will support the creation and review of business specification documents, support in solution design, impact analysis and the execution of business tests for the new IT services. In addition, your focus will be on creating better end user experience (internal or external users) and improving process and workflow efficiency.

Your responsibilities:
Project Management:

Govern the portfolio of projects and change initiatives of the Client Onboarding & Lifecycle Management Section, interact timely and accurately with the overall Clearstream transformation governance, practices and requirements

Project Planning and Strategy: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with line management and stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans that align internal/external customer requirements with company objectives.

Project Team Leadership and Coordination: Estimate and allocate necessary resources, adjust resource allocation as needed to ensure projects remain within budget and on schedule. Lead and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. Assign tasks and responsibilities, set clear objectives, and coordinate activities across different team roles and departments.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns. Continuously monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and adapt plans as necessary.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and executives, to ensure expectations are aligned. Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to keep all parties informed.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet predefined standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance.
Business Analysis

Understand the end-to-end value chain of the Section’s activities portfolio and challenges, be able to pro-actively anticipate high-level risks and issues

Business Process Optimization: Review, depict, and assess new/existing processes as required, provide recommendations for optimization to line management, and implement agreed improvement measures

Impact assessments: Perform impact assessment for changes involving the Section, identify dependencies to the data involved, currently available in different applications (SAP, KUSTA, AM, Onboarding app…).

Solution Design and Validation: Create and/or review/sign-off business specification documents, organize/attend relevant project-related meetings. Validate proposed design of solutions with IT Architect and change request owners, ensuring embedded system validations are considered.

Business Acceptance Testing (BAT): Define and execute test cases for end-to-end testing, including bug fixing.

Internal readiness : Ensure internal readiness documentation is available by the launch date of new functionalities (Operational procedures, Service Level Agreements, update of forms and templates). Organize/train colleagues for new/changed functionalities and report on changes to line management.

Data Management: Contribute to maintaining data catalog for data owned by the Section.
Your profile:

University degree (or comparable qualification) with a focus on finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or equivalent certification.

You have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience and have expert knowledge about business processes and continuous improvements. You have experience in people management in international environment, project management and complex service delivery management in IT

Strong communication and organizational skills, including interpersonal skills in networking and influencing, building partnerships, and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. Analytical skills, intercultural competence, and a hands-on mentality. Flexibility and versatility in providing value in different subjects and activities

Experience with SAP, JIRA, Power BI, Agile/Scrum projects, and standard test methodologies. Practical experience in transformation projects requiring significant Change Management effort. Knowledge and experience in working with Banking and post-trading regulations is a plus.

Proficiency in written and spoken English; French/German language skills will be an asset

Excellent skills in preparing visually- and content-effective PowerPoint presentations for ExCo-level audiences. Advanced command of MS Office applications, especially Excel (pivot tables and formulas); SharePoint experience is a plus.
