Your area of work
Clearstream as premier provider of settlement services needs to ensure adequate quality and control of service delivery processes and processing performance. CSS Reconciliation & Investigation unit performs strong operational controls and monitoring, supports 2nd line of defence. CSS Reconciliation & Investigation unit is responsible for the securities reconciliation, cash reconciliation & cash investigation.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Cash matching

Monitoring of cash flow entries and matching of cash confirmations from Clearstream's bank correspondents versus Clearstream's customers pre-advices of funds and Clearstream internal custody pre-advices of income of funds – both within various cash currencies deadlines.

  • Cash investigation

Handling of cash-related queries from external and internal customers, cash correspondent banks, and central banks in close co-operation with operational units and external stakeholders within the cash currency deadlines.

  • Ensure compliance with Internal Control System, laws and regulations, and interacting with Audit, Legal, Compliance and Risk Management for all control related activities
  • Participate in the regular review and update of guidelines and procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements of the service delivery of the cash matching and investigation process
  • Under the lead of the outsourcing business owner, contribute to business and IT initiatives
  • Contribute to preparation of business testing related activities and execution of business acceptance testing.

 

Your profile

  • University degree in economics, finance, or business administration.
  • Previous working experience in finance or administration is an advantage.
  • Some practice in the application of process analysis and improvement methods.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Good communication skills and ability/willingness to build network.
  • Team spirit in a multicultural and cross-locational environment.
  • Good written and spoken English. French or German or any other language are a plus.
  • Dedication, flexibility as well as proficiency in MS Office applications (cloud based - incl. SharePoint, OneDrive, MS Teams), Power BI round out your profile.

Location: Prague – Working hours: 08:00-18:00, including 1x late shift per week (until 20:00) & work on public holidays.
