Your area of work: 

As an Intern in Non-Financial Risk Management, you will have an excellent opportunity to explore the risk management function of a banking institution and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company and dynamic team. You will be part of a multicultural team and be actively taking part in our processes, while we are offering you diverse, interesting, and above all challenging tasks. 
 
Your responsibilities:

  • Assist in the non-financial risk identification, measurement, controlling and reporting process
  • Support the identification of operational risks and business risks together with the business units and participate in the yearly review of operational and business risk scenarios
  • Assist in generating analyses and documents to support analytics for risk management
  • Support in the improvement of current processes
  • Assist in investigating new developments on the market for risk management related topics
  • Assist in participation in the maintenance of risk management tools and databases

 

Your profile:

  • You are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program with a recognized institution and can provide an internship agreement OR have graduated with a bachelor’s degree or similar for no more than 6 months
  • You have a strong interest in the financial sector
  • You have the ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
  • You are competent handling MS-Office applications (in particular MS Access and MS Excel), VBA knowledge for process automation in Microsoft office is considered a plus
  • You are familiar with Power BI for data visualization and Power Automate for workflow automation
  • You are proficient in written and spoken English, German is considered a plus
