A key focus of the role is shaping and advancing Clearstream's Digital CSD agenda, ensuring that emerging technologies such as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), tokenization, and digital assets are effectively integrated into the future post-trade ecosystem while maintaining alignment with existing custody and settlement services.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic transformation programmes and cross-functional projects across Asset Servicing, Settlement, and Digital CSD initiatives.
  • Drive the implementation of market infrastructure changes, migrations, regulatory programmes, and new service offerings.
  • Act as the business lead for Digital CSD initiatives within Custody & Investor Solutions, ensuring alignment with Clearstream's digital asset strategy.
  • Manage project governance, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, and executive reporting across complex initiatives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in custody, settlement, and asset servicing processes, ensuring business requirements are reflected in solution design.
  • Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, clients, market infrastructures, regulators, and industry bodies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Digital CSD use cases, pilot programmes, and scalable business solutions.
  • Monitor market, regulatory, and technology developments to identify opportunities for innovation and business growth.

Your profile:

  • Master's degree or equivalent university qualification in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in post-trade, custody, asset servicing, settlement, or financial market infrastructure environments.
  • Proven track record in leading complex cross-functional projects, transformation programmes, or strategic change initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in Asset Servicing and Settlement processes across multiple asset classes and international markets.
  • Good understanding of DLT, tokenization, digital assets, smart contracts, and related market developments.
  • Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
  • Self-driven, collaborative, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French and/or German is considered a strong advantage.
