Your area of work:
The Program & Project Management team is responsible for delivering strategic transformation initiatives and regulatory change programmes across Clearstream's Asset Servicing, Triparty and Settlement businesses. As part of this team, you will lead the implementation of ECMS and other TARGET Services initiatives, acting as the key interface between Clearstream, the European Central Bank (ECB), National Central Banks (NCBs), and internal stakeholders across Product Management, Operations and IT. You will drive end-to-end programme delivery, ensuring regulatory compliance, business readiness, operational excellence, and successful implementation of market infrastructure changes that support Clearstream's strategic objectives and client offering.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of ECMS and TARGET Services initiatives, ensuring alignment across Product, Operations and IT functions.
- Act as Clearstream's primary point of contact for the ECB and National Central Banks on ECMS-related matters, including governance, testing, release management and business readiness.
- Coordinate cross-functional impact assessments, Change Requests, and service transition activities while ensuring compliance with Eurosystem requirements and SCoRE standards.
- Ensure effective alignment between business requirements and technology implementation, including development, testing, deployment and release activities.
- Govern Business Acceptance Testing (BAT), external testing activities and operational readiness across impacted teams.
- Drive stakeholder engagement, manage risks, dependencies and escalations, and provide transparent reporting to senior management.
- Coordinate client communication activities in collaboration with Product Management and client-facing teams.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of Clearstream's ECMS-related product offering and support the evolution of TARGET Services capabilities.
Your profile:
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in project or programme management within Financial Services, Securities Services, Custody, Settlement, Asset Servicing, Triparty, or Market Infrastructure environments.
- Proven experience delivering TARGET Services initiatives, including ECMS, T2S and/or T2, from analysis through implementation and production rollout.
- Strong understanding of post-trade processes, with expertise in Asset Servicing, Settlement, Triparty and custody operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex cross-functional programmes involving Product, Operations, IT, Testing and client-facing teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging regulators, central banks, market infrastructures and senior executives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a complex international environment.
- Fluent in English; French and/or German would be a strong advantage.
