Field of Activity

Global Securities Financing (GSF) Operations are responsible for the day to day running of Clearstream Banking's Triparty Collateral Management services, including Triparty Repo and Securities Lending Services. Lending Operations specifically are responsible for the processing of the entire life-cycle of a securities loan.
 

In this diverse and challenging role, you will be dealing with collateral management activities such as ensuring loan opening and closing, margin calls, collateral recalls and supporting customers in their queries.
 

You are also required to support and contribute to projects and system enhancements related to the GSF products/services, Risk Management and Quality Management initiatives.
 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Administration of the Triparty Collateral Management process including the handling of trade notifications/closures and all related collateral life cycle actions
  • Administration of the trade reconciliation and customer report handling process (including exceptions and fails handling, custody actions related to the Collateral Management process)
  • Handling of customer calls and queries related to the Triparty Collateral Management services and lending services.
  • Tracking of service issues and contribution to the continuous improvement of current processes
  • Administration of static and dynamic data related to account set ups and contractual agreements
  • Managing operationally the Liquidity Hub Go service for the Australia market (ASX)

Our Requirements:

 

  • University degree in Business, Finance, Economics or relevant experience
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience. Fresh graduate are welcome too.
  • Good understanding of financial markets and instruments
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Fixed Income assets and related custody services, including tax considerations. Knowledge on equities is considered as an advantage
  • Good understanding of the various Money Market instruments is a pre-requisite
  • Back Office experience in Clearing and Settlement for both cash and securities transactions are considered as an asset
  • Willing to work shift to support Australia hours on rotational basis
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, Proficiency in any other language will be an added advantage
  • Competent handling of MS Office applications
  • Dedication, team and communication skills, time flexibility (1st shift starting at 5:00am) as well as competency in MS Office applications
