Your area of work

In your role you will lead an operational team being part of the Settlement operations family. Your daily responsibilities will include overseeing, monitoring and improving the operations function, motivating, managing and developing the team, and ensuring the company satisfies its legal and regulatory requirements.  You should focus on delivering consistent quality to market participants, focus on reducing risk.

 

 

Tasks/responsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Operational management and development of the Settlement team
  • Work closely with other internal teams to ensure consistency and service delivery
  • Delivering a high quality end-to-end service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Close cooperation with the Governance Hub in Frankfurt and the related reporting
  • When requested participate and manage projects for GTM (internal, external or regulatory changes). 
  • Developing, maintaining and ensuring compliance to all operational guidelines, procedures and policies for your team.  Ensure sufficient Unit Recovery Plans and Outsourcing contracts are in place for your team and teams you take over from in contingency situations.

 

 

Qualifications/required skills:

  • A Level or University degree, or comparable qualifications or banking experience
  • Broad knowledge of Clearstream’s processes, services and products
  • Very good analytical, problem solving and integrated thinking skills
  • Accuracy, flexibility, excellent organisational and communication skills are a requirement
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Proven leadership and networking capabilities
  • Ability to work under high pressure
  • Ability to adapt to a constant changing environment and situation 
  • Demonstrate commitment, initiative, productivity, creativity
  • Be proactive as well as look to continuously learn and develop
  •  “Can do” mind-set
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
