Finance Operations is part of the Financial Accounting & Controlling area of Deutsche Börse Group. Finance Operations is the central operational hub for core finance processes of all major legal entities of Deutsche Börse Group. Finance Operations covers P2P Accounting, General Ledger Accounting, Legal Entity Closing and Statutory Reporting as well as Master Data Governance for appr. 70 legal entities especially in Germany and Luxembourg.
In the position of Master Data Governance & Projects Coordinator you will be working cross-functionally with business units of FA&C and other areas to ensure a holistic view on FA&C owned Master Data’s correct maintenance and quality. As a domain expert on FA&C Master data, you will advise, coordinate and liaise with other domains (Vendor, Customer, External Reference data) to ensure defined standards and policies are enforced. You will oversee data migrations, coordinating external business units to provide data in reasonable and sufficient quality. You will be reporting to the Head of Master Data based in Prague.
Responsibilities
- Data Governance and Quality: Advise business units on SAP MDG governance processes and identify risks, continuously improving data integrity and quality. Support ongoing data monitoring and data improvement initiatives.
- Projects Coordination: Lead data migration and mass upload projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery with minimal oversight.
- Process Improvement and Innovation: Collaborate on process enhancements and submit requirements in JIRA, while also supporting data stewardship within SAP roadmap projects and other M&A initiatives.
- Data Catalogue Maintenance: Expand and update the data catalogue, integrating new fields and coordinating with data owners for improved metadata accuracy.
- Service Portfolio Development: Continuously contribute expertise toward the centralized MDM service portfolio, integrating concepts such as data cataloguing, glossaries, APIs, and lineage management.
- Management Communication: Effectively communicate project updates, status reports, and improvement ideas to management, maintaining transparency and alignment with strategic objectives.
Requirements
- Experience and knowledge of following areas: Data management, Data cataloguing & Data Quality; Business process mapping and maintenance.
- Experience with main project management methodologies (Waterfall, agile, hybrid).
- Proven experience in data management or MDM, with a strong understanding of data migration and quality standards.
- Understanding and familiarity with JIRA or similar project management tools for requirement submission and tracking.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working independently with management and technical teams to align on data strategies and improvements.
- English proficiency – written and spoken.
