Your area of work
In this role, you will lead a dedicated team within the Collateral, Lending, and Liquidity Solutions (CLLS) operations division. Together, you will manage innovative services under Clearstream’s Global Liquidity Hub. These services include supporting HQLAx’s DLT operating model within Clearstream`s Trusted Third Party (TTP) role, setting up Triparty Collateral Management Contracts, and ensuring reporting of Securities Financial Transactions under the SFTR regulation.
As the Head of GSF Contracts and Reporting, you will oversee, monitor, and optimize back-office operations and manage and develop the team. You will collaborate closely with the newly established Governance Hub, Product Management, and IT to drive improvement initiatives, optimize processes, and encourage innovation.
Your responsibilities
- Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the GSF Contracts and Reporting Unit, ensure stability, reliability, and performance of the team.
- Performance Monitoring and Review: Monitor performance metrics and KPIs, leading initiatives to improve internal processes, conduct regular performance reviews, provide ongoing feedback, and offer professional development opportunities.
- Process Knowledge and Expertise: Acquire in-depth, end-to-end process knowledge for your area of responsibility and beyond.
- Team Culture: Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and inclusion within the team.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Ensure adequate and regular reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Service Delivery: Deliver high-quality services in line with operational procedures steered by the Governance Hub.
- Resource Optimization: Optimize resource allocation to ensure effective use of personnel, tools, and technologies.
- Compliance: Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with all operational guidelines, procedures, and policies for your team.
- Documentation: Maintain appropriate documentation of processes and support internal and external audits and governance requirements.
Your profile
- Education: University degree or equivalent qualifications or banking experience.
- Knowledge: Broad understanding of Clearstream’s CLLS processes, services, and products.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and integrated thinking abilities.
- Attributes: Accuracy, flexibility, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Leadership: Proven leadership and networking capabilities.
